Hello there! If you’ve found yourself here, you already know my name. Here’s a little bit about me. My mom has always told me that I cried day and night until I learned how to hold a pencil. Thankfully for her (and the rest of my family) that only lasted a year or two and I’ve been drawing ever since. I grew up in a small, rural town in the 80s where I drew, airbrushed t-shirts (com’on it was the 80s), played drums, skateboarded, rode bikes, swam in lakes, explored the woods and played Dungeons & Dragons with my buddies. I attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I got a BFA in design & illustration. I was also lucky enough to meet my wife there. A degree and a girl… not too shabby! We still live in Greensboro and have an amazing son who’s in college and is now taller than both of us. I’ve worked as a designer & illustrator in advertising agencies and freelance for the last 25 years and have experience with clients like Wrangler, Lee, Chateau Morrisette, Volvo & Mack Trucks, TruGreen, Sealy, Stearns & Foster, Hanes, Kingsdown, Bassett Furniture, Banner Pharmacaps, Notion Music, Triad Stage and Perper Design.
